You have to go the way your blood beats. If you don't live the only life you have, you won't live some other life, you won't live any life at all. - James Baldwin Remember that shy woman from your undergrad polisci class, who more or less camped out in the stacks of the library? You have to go the way your blood beats. If you don't live the only life you have, you won't live some other life, you won't live any life at all. - James Baldwin Remember that shy woman from your undergrad polisci class, who more or less camped out in the stacks of the library? Turns out, she wanted more adventure. Let me tell you my story... I have a professional background in qualitative research, group facilitation and communication, working in local non-profits and research and policy organizations in Canada and overseas. In my last desk job, I spent most of my time typing away on a laptop in a cubicle in a windowless room in a large hospital in Vancouver, analyzing and writing about people working in the field of sexuality, as sex workers, dominatrices, massage parlour workers, sex surrogates and more. As I read through interview after interview, I realized I wanted the to be _living_ rather than writing about the experiences of the folks of I was researching. Their lives had more connection, sensuality, and really hot sex than I'd ever find sitting at my desk. At the same time, I had a lot of ego, identity and illusions of security invested in that job. Once I was willing to be really honest with myself, I realized there was nothing I wanted more than to leave the confines of my cubicle and venture out to learn how co-create spectacular erotic experiences with...you? There was no obvious path from lifelong library nerd to professional lover. In my younger years as a National Scholar at the University of Toronto, I literally spent every Friday night at the library until midnight when the security staff kicked me out. By the time I graduated, you could count the number of sexual experiences I'd had on one hand. But now, many library nights later, I had a vision. I knew I wanted more. So, I started attending cuddle parties, orgasmic yoga classes and conscious sexuality workshops. I completed a certification in Somatic Sex Education and I launched a private practice in Sensual Massage. I loved connecting with the simplicity of touch beyond words and the profound sense of joy I found through mutual pleasure on the massage table. It was mind-blowing to me I was having the most blissful, intense erotic experiences of my life, through breath, movement, touch and lots and lots of hot coconut oil. Eventually, I wanted to know more about my clients, about my own body, and the full range of pleasure through sex, love, lust and everything in between. I began offering fully intimate companionship sessions, diving into the deliciousness of finding the unique chemistry and possibility for pleasure between myself and whomever showed up at my door. The skill and practice of finding in-the-moment authentic pleasure is my commitment to you, to myself and a broader world that I believe desperately needs more joy, more sex and more conscious connection. See my website www.goodSex.ca for full bio, blog and gallery. PS. I also offer the finest sensual massage sessions you may ever experience (interactive, full body), and offer Slow Fire Intimacy Coaching sessions (clothes-on, can include sensual touch, cuddling, etc) for those looking for depth, connection, pleasure, skill and delight at a slower pace.
